My sister and I along with our partners spent the weekend at Manawa retreat hoping to get a relaxing stay that is not too far from Christchurch. It turns out that we got more than we expected.

The property is stunning! Jordana welcomed us in and given us a tour of the place which we were very fortunate to have to ourselves. Everything was well prepared. It was as if Jordana knew what we need and had taken care of it. She has amazing attention to detail and very easy to communicate with.

The Manawa retreat property offers walking paths, flying fox for adults, sauna, heated pool, a hot tub, a bonfire area and a yoga room. We treated ourselves and used all facilities. We had lovely healthy meals which were provided. A trip to remember, this place made two tired nurses and two overworked teachers very happy.

Our one-night stay at Manawa Retreat was booked for the end of a week-long adventure with a group of 11 Australian female clients and it was absolutely the icing on the cake of an amazing trip. Jordana was a lovely, helpful host and her communication pre-visit and during our stay was impeccable.

The facilities were perfect for a rainy afternoon and we alternated between the gorgeous big sauna, the hot tub and lounging in front of the fire.

We booked a private chef through Manawa and the food was to die for! So delicious and such a treat to be cooked for.

If you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to stay with incredible amenities and wonderful hosting, then Manawa Retreat is hands down your best bet.

Had the absolute pleasure of spending 4 days with Manawa. The facilities were incredible, maintained to a high standard daily and just what we needed. The golf course was a nice touch and provided a perfect escape after a days work.

The sauna, cold plunge, and spa were perfect. We were generously catered with delicious meals!
